Steering wheel squeek is driving me crazy
For the last few weeks I have noticed a squeek when turning the steering wheel that I finally today looked into. Its coming from up right at the wheel itself. I took off all the wheel trim up there and can hear it right up in the wheel I think.
What is in there that can squeek and how do I stop it!
Can the wheel be removed and inspected without messing up any airbag stuff?
Thanks.

Nevermind, I found the squeek by lifting the front tires off the ground so I could turn the wheel more to get more squeek. Then it came apparent that the squeek was being transfered up the shaft from the rubber "rag joint" outside under the hood. WD-40 took care of it.
