Steering problems and camber
Hey all, I'm no expert, but I've been reading some of the steering threads and have a thought....

It seems to me that in many newer cars and trucks, that the camber angle is set very close to zero degrees.

Having fixed older wandering problems by adding negative camber (especially in 4X4's) seems like something that should be done to these trucks as well.

I happen to like having the angle set negative just a bit over stock because I like the the self-correcting feel of the steering (always pulls to center because of the resistance on the trailing edge of the tire).

In my truck, it really feels like there is no self-correction at all, and that all of the duty of keeping the truck straight is dependant on the tightness of the every single steering componant.

Thoughts?

Sean
