need little things

My 95 dodge needs some things in the cab to get it back into shape. I need the little clips that hold the sun visors in place and I need a new headliner because the wind blows it down during the summer when I gotta have the windows down. Anyone know a good place to get good parts without geting ripped off.

The clips are probably available from the dealer. A new headliner can be had from an after market shop. There is a place locally here that I had a headliner made for a Camaro. I removed the headliner and they took the old hard board from the original and recovered it. It came out great. There has to be a place like that somewhere near you. Good luck.

The clips are available from the dealer. Both of them were broken when I
bought my truck, which is a 95 also. They were $6 each, part number
5EZ92RF1. Don't know how to get the head liner to stick yet, mine is
also coming down along the edge at the windshield. I was thinking of
trying to use some of that spray adhesive stuff, but haven't yet.

Hope that helps...

Take the headliner down yourself and pull off the cloth.Afer you do that the foam backing can be removed with a wire brush. At that point the hard part is done and it shouldn't cost but about $50 to have the cloth replaced. If you just drop-off the truck and ask for a new headliner I believe the going price is somewhere around $200.

Have you tried the local junk yard? I have a guy in my area that sells wrecked Dodge trucks. He has about 50 in a field that he keeps for parts. I get stuff off of him dirt cheap. Check around your area, you might be surprised.

There's a guy selling a '96 "Cummings" diesel engine on Ebay. He says it's from a rollover and that he has lots of other parts from the truck, including the interior. Here's the link. Ebay Link Good Luck.
