cast and camber question,,,

i had my upper king pins redone and the mechanic said there not adjustable,,the passenger wheel was dead on but the driverside still leans out,,,how can i fix this,,,,any help will be appreciated,,

Maybe the lower kingpin/bearing is wore? Wheel bearings in good shape and tight?

Camber isn't something that is usually needed to be adjusted with these front ends. You can buy adjustable lower kingpins but should not be needed.

everything is tight,,cant you adjust the plastic cone piece,,or get one with a different offset or something...

You cannot adjust the plastic cone. Have you checked to see if the spindle is bent?

You can get shims to adjust the spindle angle in relation to the knuckle.

Did the mechanic replace the upper kingpins themselves or just the plastic bushings? Could be the upper kingpins are worn and need to be replaced.

are you sure thats the lower,,i thought the lower was a bearing,,that looks more like a top ford kingpin

Yes its the lower. This is the stock lower kingpin which the bearing is mounted too.

This is what I used , my 90 was so far out (from factory)I had to get it to 3/4+ to get it in spec.using the adjustable lower bearing kit was not enough and when I would pound the truck down real bad roads the adjustable upper nylon bushing kept moving out of position

Dana 60F camber shim reference

MOOG Part # K9803
adjustment range from -3/8 to +3/8 Deg.

adjustment range from -1/2 to +1/2 Deg.

adjustment range from -5/8 to +5/8 Deg.
