What is the ST package? I know its like the SLT but what comes on the ST? Whats the differance from the SLT? Is the ST the work truck version without power windows, locks and other stuff? ( This is on a 1998 dodge )

 

That's about the jist of it. No power windows or locks. Mine is a ST and it has the rubber floors (I personally like that) It has AC, cruse all the normal things. The seats are cloth, maybe it's a lesser grade but they are showing no wear what so ever. I don't have fog lights but the wires are there if I ever want them, new switch in dash or hardwire for operation.

Honestly outside of power options like seats, windows and door locks I don't know of any other things missing.

Oh ya, no over head compass, trip meter, fuel mileage lier thingy.

Thats about it I think except my ST has the pleather seats instead of cloth and also has the rubber floor mats which I like as well for working out of I can hose the floor board out if need be. I think the carpet might kill just a little bit of the cab noise but not much. Really not much diffrence though.

 

FWIW , dad's truck is a 1997 SLT Laramie, The only things it has that yours does not , is power windows and locks. His has the rubber floor , cloth seats , etc ( I have only ever seen ONE 12V CTD with leather/power seats and the overhead compass)

Come to think of it, my 1995 is an SLT Laramie , and the only think mine has that his does not , is carpet on the floor.

 

I have an ST, which was hard to find. All manual door locks, seat adjustments, windows, transfer case, and tranny. It has rubber mats, cloth seats. Two things I wish it had; a selectable locker, and no automatic AC when selecting defrost. I added an analog compass, a 'dashmat' which is a kind of black carpet on top of the dash to cut glare.
