From a squeak to a screech!

I recently noticed that my truck was pulling left under braking and that the front left brake was squeaking under moderate braking.

I went to replace the pads with Wagner Thermoquiets, but noticed my front right rotor was scored. I took it to get the rotors turned and the pads replaced, but now it still pulls left and the squeak is much louder

I know that something else must be going on with that brake, but not sure what. Do you guys have any suggestions? I appreciate any guidance.

You might have a rusty caliper that isn't retracting and the pads/rotor are getting hot.
Reman calipers don't cost all that much, replace both if you do it.

Don't forget to grease the sliders on the caliper brackets so they can release easier!

I got a look at my situation and knew that it would be more complex than I have room or time for. I got hooked up with a good brake guy and he assessed the situation.

My calipers were so rusty that they were sticking. My brake hoses had wear spots deep into them. One of my wheel cylinders was leaking. My brake shoes were cracked. And a steel line was almost corroded through. I got all of that fixed for under 600, but I noticed on my way home that it still pulled left under hard braking.

I just got my Thuren, so I can't imagine that being the problem. Could it be my loose sector shaft? There is play in the sector shaft, so do you think a stabilizer would help? I am running out of things to fix or replace (getting expensive). All input is appreciated.

I would definantly add a steering stabelizer. I just put my BD SBS on about two weeks ago and can tell the dif. However, those are more of a insurance add on, They wont fix a problem, but it'll help one from happening. See what a few other guys say incase you spend the money for one and it doesnt fix it. But if you get a few spare bucks down the road, get one for sure.

Pull is usually to opposite side of sticking front caliper. Just take it back to the mechanic since you paid him to fix it.
