Spring in the door hinge

Well, a friend of mine lost the spring that's in the upper hinge assembly of the driver's side door.

Maybe someone can point me to a place where I can buy the spring?

Thanks!

If he'd show any interest in selling me these parts...

Sent some PMs, most remain unanswered.

(Even though I offered his preferred payment method and him shipping to a TX address- no reply.. )

AlpineRAM...I do the best I can. I have guys all the time that want me to ship big, breakable stuff... dually flairs to Kansas, fenders to Ohio, tailgates to TX. Sheetmetal gets hard to ship without destroying it. I can spend an hour just packing up a fan shroud for shipping as I try very hard to pack things well.
Maybe I should just box stuff up ***** nilly to ship, and if it gets broken in the mail, just say take it up with the shipping company as it really is not my fault.

I PM'ed you I have no good way that I trust for shipping a complete tailgate from VT to TX this side of building a wooden box.. The standard shipping options [USPS, UPS, FedEX] would be big $$ and very likely to dent it it. If you would like too volunteer a good method to ship tailgates to TX or Austria, I am all ears..

Would it be fair for me to say?:
"If AlpineRam showed any interesting in picking up the parts he needs".... It is SAFELY SHIPPING the stuff that is the issue, not just selling you the parts.

Shipping something like a door hinge to TX, should be pretty easy though...

I did not receive the PM you said you sent.

Last one I got stated that you do not have one in the desired color, but can source a good tailgate in a different color. (8-16-2019)

No information on price and shipping. No answer to my questions concerning that info in the PM on 8-17-2019.

Sorry if I offended you.

And about picking up the parts- if you could tell me that you had the parts and where they are to be picked up I could try to arrange a shipper to fetch them. Maybe even fly over myself.

But without knowing that you definitely have the part and the price of the part...
