Sport Lights???

Hey Guys,

I would like to improve the headlights and was thinking the sportlight conversion might be the way to go. Is there a better system and how hard is the conversion for my truck???

TIA

Willysrule the britebox will reilly help you mite find some high end driving lights that would fit in were the factory fog lights go.most driving lights are brite but do not light the road for the long range like 300/500 yards. look at my pics this may not be what you want to do but I now can see at night.

Geez msing - are those lights big enough? LOL

I went with these from PIAA Click Here

These are their model 520. They're more than bright enough and do a great job in fog/rain/snow and go for quite a distance (more than 1 standard city block - I can light up the side of an apartment complex that's 2 blocks from my house! LOL,

I don't know but I think maybe if he put his truck in neutral and turned them on, he'd start rolling backwards

The 4 on the light bar 100w the 2 little piaas are 35w about 33 amps does not seem to pull down the volts, the stereo does at an idle though but not that bad. these trucks have a good size alternator.

Others have reported that the Summitracing.com wiring harness (p/n 890030, $39.95) with relays works wonders and also saves the headlight switch from melting down.
