Service manuals

Besides the dealer, where is the best place to get the service manuals for a 2002 2500. Will the factory service manuals also have the wiring diagrams?

Thanks

Just bought a manual for my sons 94 truck and my 99 Neon from the site above. This is quality stuff, not copies of a copy of a faxed copy of a copy.

THe 97 manual was $79 plus shipping and the 99 manual was $99 plus shipping if I remember. Do yourself a favor, spend the bucks and get the right book.

Cumminsdude,
The picture you posted is the "Garden-Variety" Pep-Boy's manual.

When you get a look at a Factory manual, you'll see how little informantion the store bought one actually contains.
Mine is almost as big as a YellowPages phone book.

Over the years I have used many service manuals, both factory and AM. Unfortunately I have never yet seen an after market manual that covers the things that the factory service manual covers, specially when it comes to electrics. The after market manuals for me are great for general stuff, but when it comes to trying to find out how to remove a punka louvre or some other upholstery item they fall flat. There are other items they have failed me and I always end up buying the factory manual.
I do not have experiance with some of the AM stuff of the last few years so would be interested to hear from some of you that are using the AM manuals for some of the oddball stuff.

Mexstan you have the idea! We bought a Catera and my wife ask me why I had to spend $100 on a service manual. I can't afford to let Cadillac do the service for me, man has that manual save me money.

You cannot go wrong with the factory one from tech, as someone said here before, they put their haynes by the toilet for reading and if they ever run out of wipe they use it, Ha Ha, I do not know who said it but it does make sense after looking thru a factory one, Goodluck, Rick

Cumminsdude, unfortunately you need two manuals for your rig since they made both 12 and 24 valves in '98

and here for the 24 valve supplement it's only $20 though.
