I'm thinking I want to install seat heaters in my front seats before our annual trek to South Dakota (?) for Christmas, has anyone installed them in their truck? any suggestion on brands to look for or avoid? I dont think I want to go with the strap on external heaters but rather skin the seat and install the elements beneath the upholstery although the other route is much easier and cheaper...

IIRC Geno's garage has the kit you want/ are talking about.

Mine has the factory heated seats and they usually start to go south around my trucks present mileage. The wiring is undersized and garbage, so the kit is probably a good choice.

There is a few good threads if you search it..

LOL, thanks Silver, that works for me but the beloved parasite demands the cab be above freezing and that her already insulated back be warmed as well, and I'm frankly tired of her stirring rendition of "I'm cold, isnt there in heat in this thing?"

Ordered the Geno's kit and should have them in either this weekend or next depending on when the kit gets here
