ring on front rotor?why only 1?

ring on front rotor?why only 1?

theres a ring on the rotor, goes over wheel studs, why only one? which side does it belong on.?

This was a "fix" for brake pull. If the truck were pulling to the left, a spacer would be put behind the right front wheel - and vice versa, of course. So, it could go on either side depending on that particular truck's problem - and most trucks probably don't even have them.

There's a lengthy TSB that explains all this.

Besides not often working to correct pull the bad thing about the spacer ring is that it can stick to the back of the wheel and get moved anywhere during a tire rotation. I know of people who have found the ring on the rear.

Ring? What ring? How big? I did a search for any TSB on it and couldn't find anything.

this truck had it since new, just trying to chase down a wierd front end, had a shop do dome work,I cant remember what side it came on??
