Replacement cab corners

Here is my problem. I am looking for cab corner replacements for my 99 QUAD cab. Everywhere i called and looked, including Dodge dealer, LMC truck, local paint shop, Napa, ebay, only specify them for a 2nd gen regular cab and extended cab. (napa and local dodge dealer dont sell them at all)

The extended cab one (saw the picture in LMC truck and on ebay) is for the trucks without the rear doors, and is much longer.

I ended up ordering the regular cab one from the local paint shop and it is very close but not quite right. My cousin will be doing the work and i'll have to get his opinion if he can make it work or not.

The people i have called and talked to so far want to automatically sell me the one for the extended cab, but when I explain that dodge made 2 versions and mine has the suicide doors in the back, then nobody knows what i need. (by the way, my local friendly dodge dealer does not sell replacement panels, so maybe i should try the one in the next town??)

Just curious if anybody here has any experience with this so maybe i can buy the right piece.

Thanks,

Has nobody had to replace cab corners yet on the quad cab? I called the dodge dealer in the next town today and they don't sell patch panels either. Also tried another place in Pennsylvania that only sells patch panels, and he said that apparently nobody makes the cab corners for the quad cabs b/c he couldnt get them either or didn't know where to.

I'm looking for the same patch.
No luck here yet either. I'll let you know if I find anything. Please do the same.

If theyre similar in contour Id just cut em up and use those. I did my corners but I shortcutted the job by trimming the backs down enough that I could weld them without removing the bed.
I did the rockers at the same time. They were all rotten really bad.
Id invest in a plug welder tool with a copper plate on the back to help with the welds.
