Rusty cab corners WWYD

So I took my truck through the local car wash the other day and when I got home realized that I now have a rust spot the size of a baseball on my driver's side rear cab corner. The passenger box fender is going too. Needless to say I am really frustrated. I love this thing and I hate the feeling that it is falling apart on me already. I don't even have 100,000 miles on it yet!

So to my question. If this was your truck, what would you do? Let it go, or try to fix it?

I just hurt. I look at it and the amount of money I paid, I don't think I'll ever buy a newer vehicle again. Does anyone else have rusty cab corners?

Sorry for your problem. My 03 is looking well. If you plan to keep the truck or not, fix it to stop the rust.

No rusty cab corners here in the winter salt flats of MN. But, I have experienced Dodge doing something about premature rust and corrosion, providing there hasn't been any crash damage etc. causing the rust. Now, this hasn't been a common place thing (the repair part) with the mighty Chrysler. So I would say find a dealer that you have had a relationship with, stop in and plead your case. It may fall on deaf ears. If so, keep trying. There are many accesses to Auburn Hills. Remember the word persistence. Chrysler, LLC is full of surprises some times. No matter how hostile you may get dealing with the Chrysler chain of command don't let them know it or your quest will be over. Look at this as a chance to hone your salesmanship skills...
