Quick question - double sided tape source?
Quick question - double sided tape source?
Hi folks,
A side window flare on my truck has peeled off at the upper end. It is a Bugflector thing and was held in place by double sided sticky tape. The tape is stuck like mad to the door but the flare peeled off. I need to get some tape, what brand worked good for you and where did you get it?
Thanks!

Availabe at any auto parts house.
3M double sided foam body trim tape (or something like that)
One of my windvisors flew off in a carwash, taped back on and held till I sold that truck.

3M VHB tape. When i was in the aluminum trailer industry we used a lot of it instead of rivets to attach the outer side sheets and roof skin. Can't stress enough the importance of surface prep, lightly sand/rough up any painted surface and clean with alcohol.
