psc steering box

Anyone have any problems with their PCS steering box?? from day one,put the box one no return to center, went to get it aligned and the guy told me the box was loose.(Not the mounting bolts) left the alignment still with no return to center. The truck was aligned per Geno's Garage specs. Now 7 months later im fed up with fighting the truck down the road.. BTW everything on the front end was new along with a DSS.

I have the PSC SG-841M which is a 3 turn box with very light valving. I figured there is so little resistance in the steering box that it won't return to center. I can steer it with one finger and other than manually returing to center I love it. My frame/alignment shop said its due to the light valving.

I think its normal for that box. Give PSC a call.

Do a search on the psc steering box and look for the ones by a banned member named big blue and look at the ones by me. At one point the company pulled all the dodge boxes do to a problem I cant recall if it was the sector shaft seal leaking or the return too center problem but I was faced with going psc or napa and chose napa and I feel I got the better deal.

I'm on my third one in 9 months and still not happy. I have the three turn box but prefer the 4 turn. I have to admit their customer service is very awesome and easy to deal with if you have problems.

It's a hit and miss with all reman boxes.
