Guys..

I have had troubles with my power windows before, and many thank yous to those of you that have helped me with them. I have cleaned out the terminals and sand papered them and so on and so forth three times in the past week, and again the windows only work when they want to..

Any ideas as towards what else it could be that is causing them to work only when they want to? its mainly the passenger window control from the drivers side that dont work.. and its kinda gettin annoying...

Broken wire in drivers door or the drivers side master window switch sounds like a good starting point.

 

have you tried goin to a u pull it and finding a power window controll and puttin new one on? like maybe the switch it self is not working any more or making contact were is needs to

 

I am not a wiring guru so bear with me.

First i would start off with what DC83, maybe the switch itself is bad.

Second I am not sure but is there a relay anywhere in the system?

Third, i have a buddy with a powerstroke that has issues every now and then, will work find then they will slow down and then just stop. We have pretty much eliminated it down to a bad motor. Hink sink or something on it, not sure. Just food for thought
