Power door lock dead

Hi all. I am looking all over for a door lock actuator for my 99. I don`t really want to go right down to the dealer yet, I`ll look here first to try to save $$$$. Thanks to anyone who can direct me into the right direction.

Junkyard.
I wouldn't doubt if the same actuator was used on all Chrysler vehicles of your vintage.
Should make it easy to find.

door locks

Yea.....I called the "*******" yesterday, $170 for one side. I will go to Pick-A-Part with a list of little things to get that have broken or settled over the years. "I own a Cummins with Dodge wrapped around it". LOL Thanks for the input. Mark

sometimes (most times)the wiring is broken in the boot near the door hinges.
also I've seen door locks that would make noise and not quite have enough pull power to "snap" the locks, most times a liberal amount of brake clean to wash old grease/dust off, followed by lots of WD40 or the like, would restore "weak" locks

The door lock switch contacts on the driver door get dirty and the locks will start working hit or miss then quit. Easy fix. Take the switch apart and use fine sandpaper to clean the contacts in the switch.

You can easily tell if the switch is giving you the problem or it's something else if the passenger side switch has the same problem.
Highly unlikely for both switches to go bad at the same time.

Kinda on the same topic. My passenger door doesn't lock or unlock from the inside with the switch. It will work when manually pressed down or pulled up. It still makes the buzzing noise though when you push the button either way. Is there some kind of connection that comes off from the motor? Any ideas?

as I mentioned above, remove panel and spray the crap out of it, cleaning and lub will likely fix your lock
