Did you test all your fuses for continuity? If they have continuity I would probably start tracing wires down perhaps you have a short somewhere that may have fryed the fuse initially and cause the lights and radio to quit

i can try the fuse test, but other items that use the fuses still work..
thats the other thing is i cant see why the radio quit and its fuse is good still hmm

as far as tracing wires, i have no idea and cant reach/ see most of them.
are there fuseable links somewhere?
thanks for the info i will have to try tomorrow in the day

I have almost the same problem going on as you, my dome light isnt working, I tried a new bulb but nothing, checked the fuse and it was blown, replaced it and it still wont work. Let me know what you find tommorow.

Did you check the IOD fuse? There are 2 fuses that run the radio and the IOD is real hard to see. It will be located in the fuse box on the left side of the dash and should have a yellow cover on it. It controls the radio, inside lights, and the overhead console.

If I remember right IOD is short for ignition off draw.....basically that fuse is used to keep the battery from being drawn dead while it's sitting on the dealer's lot waiting to be sold or in long term storage. as far as I know the only reason they put it in the yellow holder is to make it easy to see and since they make the holder so bloody hard to get out of the fuse panel it's hard to pull all the way out and lose the silly thing.
