Non blinking blinkers

My blinkers stopped blinking yesterday, now they just stay lit . I checked the fuses and cant find a relay for the turn signals. The wierd thing is that my hazards still blink . Am I missing something here? Anybody know more about lighting than me? What could be wrong here?
Thanks guys,
Scott

Thats what I thought at first but then I figured out that the flashers/ hazards still work. I guess it is very possible, especially with my luck, but I would be angry if all my blinkers went out at once.

bad front bulb? i just had my right blinker go double speed. one of the filaments in the rear bulb blew out (marker, no brake or blinker light)....just switched it with a back-up light bulb. the 4 way flashers worked fine though.

I beleive that each bulb contain 2 units to provide dual purposes. One unit is driving and hazards the other is blinker and brake. That may not be the actual combo I am just giving an example. It is very common for only one of the filaments to burn out and the other is still fine. It happened to me several times. I put my turn signal on and no blink just a constant arrow. Actually one time I was in front of of cop and had to make a turn without a blinker so I kept clicking my turn signal arm and WAHHHLAAHH I got a turn signal ALL IN ALL a bad bulb!

It is just a flasher problem. Mine did it too. The reason you still have your hazard flashers is because there are two flasher units. Just go to NAPA and for about $7.99 you can walk out with a new electronic flasher. Open your door and get into the fuse panel there. You will see two flasher units. They are round and about 1 1/2" tall. Pull straight out and they will come out easily. Just pop the new one in and you are all set. It takes longer to read this than it does to replace either one.

It was the flasher. After my last post I went out and looked around in the fuse panel and found what I realized was the flasher. I pulled it out and jiggled it around a little (it was a scientific jiggle ) I stuck it back in and presto! I guess the flasher is on its last leg so Ill have to go get a new one. Thanks for the help guys, I was worried I had a wiring problem there for a little while . Its always a good thing when it isnt as bad you expected .

The flashers (some at least) will fail after awhile because of the way that they are mounted...at a 90 angle. I had to fab a couple of lead wires with spade and female connectors to mount the flasher under the dash.
I have had no problems since.
