I replaced the 40 dollar relay for the signals/hazards. it would just barley work then stopped again..

The volt meter on the dash has been going up an down for about 3 weeks, not sure if that has something to do with it.

My truck is how I make a living I transport motorcycles and this close to X mas its going to really be bad if I cant get it going again.

I would start looking at the rear tail lites , trailer wiring if you got it , sounds like a short , every once and a while I've seen the connector spots on the lite bulbs melt and get power & or ground going where you do not want it to go , remove all the lite bulbs in those circuts to see if there is anything amiss.

Just got it squared away.

the problem was a screw inside the trailer plug became loose and was connecting the yellow and ground.

I spent 40 bux at dodge for a new haz flasher and blew it then spent 8 bux on fuses that I blew and another hazzard flasher from auto zone for 12.99

Ill be back on the road first thing friday.

just another few months with this 01 CTD before I buy a new 07
