No power assist brakes and steering Vacuum pump?

I was going to take my truck to work today. Jumped in started it up and had no power assist for the steering or brakes. I'm thinking my vaccum pump is shot? Either that or the blue cylinder on the hydroboost unit is bad. Any ideas? Thanks. -Glen

Check your vacuum fittings, you may just have a leak.

Check your power steering fluid if you have the Hydro-Boost brakes.

Thanks for the info. I really didn't have time to look at it today, but I will check the obvious. -Glen

Finally got to look at it today. The power steering pump was bone dry. Filled it up, racked the steering back and forth to purge out the air. All is good. Now to find my leak. Thanks very much. -Glen
