no mirror power
I have no power to the mirror switch, heated mirrors option works fine, IOD circuit otherwise works fine. I'm guessing I am looking for a broken wire or connection. Spent all day checking the usual spots for chafing, pinching etc.
(I did not check the passenger side mirror for pinching, as I assume it is at the end of the circuit) Does the power to the switch come directly from the IOD fuse or is it routed from elsewhere? A schematic would help. thanks, al

thanks kurt, much appreciated, does it come directly from the iod fuse?
I have now had a really good look at the back side of the fuse block ( as best I can) checked the passenger side for shorts ( no pink wire). then checked the connection where it goes through to the door on the drivers side. I have a bleed through voltage of .48 which is also present at the switch. The only thing I can think of is that I damaged something last year when I swung the dash down to do the heater core??????? the search continues.......

The PK wire runs to a connector, turning into a 20 ga. wire at Joint Connector #5, which then runs in a PK 22 ga. to fuse Number 12 (10A) in the junction block...
Hope this helps, wish I could post the page in the FSM...Page 8W-12-14 in mine.

Kurt, I'm thinking that joint connecter #5 is the one at the firewall where it jumps through to the door, to verify this, can you tell me how many wires are in that connection. If you have the capability to photograph or scan the FSM I will pm you my email address, thanks, al

thanks again kurt, pm sent. I think I am on the right track that the problem is between the IOD fuse and the connecter #5, that being said, after doing some research I understand there is a way to access the back of the fuse block without dropping the entire dash. Apparently there are instructions in the FSM. Where would I obtain an FSM? ( so I don't have to bother considerate/patient/helpfull people like yourself).
