new headlights, and hid bulbs

The other day i tackled the job of changing out my factory lenses. And upgraded the bulbs as well. The bulbs i bought were 5600k, and i'm not impressed with the beam they produce. Would it be a good idea to change the bulbs to the 8000k bulbs? Let me know what ya'll think.
