Need a door now.....

Well... Soon. I had the startings of lower door rot. Had it fixed last year hoping to get a couple more years out of them. Might have if not for last week when my 9 year old son closed the passenger side door on something metal that had fallen off the seat and was half hanging out of the door sill. I now have a 2" pucker in the lower door edge and the force completely split the lower seam open about 14 inches. I'll probably driveway fix it for the winter but will be looking for a replacement now.... Stinks.

How did you have it repaired out of curiosity?

He took it down to bare metal (I had no perforation at the time), treated, filled, and finished. But the damage was already starting inside. He said that there is little short of chemotherapy that will stop it in the long term.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
If wasn't so far could supply door. Lots of freight from Kentucky to Maine. Have right front door from 2000 2500 QC that has been professionally repaired and sealed. Just add paint.
