Door gasket torn by door

Anyone else having a problem with the doors rubbing the door gasket s to the point that the gasket is ripped? We ordered 4 trucks similar builds and all of them have the same issue. The front corner of the door frame rips the seal by the windshield.

Same problem.

See TSB 23-008-04.

The dealer said "bring it in and we'll take care of it".

Same issue with mine, does anyone have a copy of See TSB 23-008-04? I like to have it in writing cause my dealer has issues with finding paper work.

I couldn't find this particular TSB on the internet, anywhere. I got the number from another post here. Took it to the dealership, and they gave me a copy of the bulletin. It basically says they will replace the door seal. I haven't looked at it for a while, but I believe that is the jest of it.

I had mine replaced on the driver's side at a few hundred miles. Now 6,000 miles the replacement is shot too...

Sounds like a design flaw. Sure they will fix it now but what happens when the warranty runs out? I don't want to keep taking my truck in every 5K miles for a new door seal.

If you look in my Member's Photo Galley you will find a scaned copy of the two pages for the TSB 23-008-04.

Silicone spray lube should help quite a bit. It will lubricate the seal and make the rubber last longer. It comes in a yellow can at Wal Mart in the automotive section.

So the TSB states that the door seal will be replaced with an improved seal. Has anyone had the "improved seal" put on to see if there is a difference?
