Removed the door panels a few weeks ago to install better speakers.
Noticed there were pigtails/plugs that were not connected to anything.

I assume these are for interior door lights.. But I do not see a lense on the door for a bulb?

Any ideas?

I have heated mirrors..
The stereo was a cassette player.. has been replaced with an Eclipse head unit.

Could they be connectors for another speaker?

 

Got a 2001 dually in the driveway right now.. This one doesn't have door lights either.. No one has any ideas?

 

Maybe a pigtail for the A-pillar tweeters, I had my door panel off to put the tow mirrors on and didnt notice any unsed wires sitting there, I have power windows and door locks and had power /heated mirrors, (soon to fix that) So other than the now discconected power mirrors I didnt see anything extra in there.

 

Here is on not thought of... The lights for the driver side window controls in the door.

Just my 2 cents here...

 

With the Infinity sound system there is power wiring for a amp in each door controlled when the stereo is turned on. There could also be input wires to the amp that isn't there.
If you didn't have the Infinity system it's very likely there are unused wires in the door.
