Mystery drip

I've had an intermittent drip within the cab of my 01. Driverside, above the gas pedal. It actually shows on the pedal then drips down onto floormat. The residual drips are obvious. All my liquids are normal. Nothing appears to be running out of the ordinary. I can only see so far up underneath the dashboard which isn't much for those of you that have put your head there before. It isn't a flowing drip. Sporatic. Help!

Neither. I actually have never seen it drip, I just see the end results of stained gas pedal and floor mat.

Odor? It sounds like condensation to me.

I don't think its condensation. Its still "wet" looking. It never dries up.

Follow your clutch pushrod from the pedal to where it disappears into the firewall. That's where the master cylinder for the clutch hydraulics is. Look for wetness on the pushrod. Do the same for the brake pedal, may be the hydraboost unit leaking into the cab.

On my 1/2 ton ram the windshield seal leaked right above the steering wheel, the water ran down the windhsield behind the dash and ended up on the floor.
