Re:Is my block heater working?????

I checked it and it is definitely not working. Does anybody know some parts numbers? Cord? Heater? I would prefer Cumminsnumbers as the dealership has nit-wits working for them.

I'm sure if you had your engine serial number handy when you called Cummins, they could find everything you need while you were on the phone.

Re:Is my block heater working?????

theres a tag on the front of your engine with all the engine info like HP, serial number, CPL #, build date ect....this is usefull info when ordering parts

Control Parts List

The Control Parts list can be found on the engine data plate, located on the drivers side of the timing gear case. This speeds up the process of finding parts specifically for your engine when dealing with Cummins.

Re:Is my block heater working?????

I checked mine according to what the guys told you and found my cord has no continuity. I am going to try a new plug end as a cheap fix first because I know they melt down inside. If the $3 plug end doesn't fix it then I'll pay Dodge for a new cord. DAVE
