Question More lighting problems

My headlights go out alltogether when I change from low to high beams. Operating the control seems to get them back on after a few paniced pulls. Usually happens when towing, but has happened when not pulling. I believed the tow package on this truck was supposed to include relays to prevent this common problem. Not sure. My dad had sim prob. with 96, changed mult func switch, didn't help. Changed light switch, put in heavier direct ground. That helped. Where should I start? Multifunction switch? Light switch? Summit relay kit? Brite Box? Anything else?

It is the high/low beam lever on the column, last one I bought was I think around 40 bucks, 3 or 4 torque screws to take the cover off, and 2 or 3 to take the switch off and some wire connector plugs and you are done.

Dealer supplied part.

I had the same problem, It was the switch itself. I bought one at Carquest yesterday, 25.00 dollars. Solved the problem.

Lighting Problem

Replaced the multifunction switch. This has so far fixed the problem. Time will tell.
