I just purchased a 95 Dodge Cummins Diesel. When I purchased it they said the radio did not work and I have not been able to find out why. The interior lights are not working either. I have check both fuse boxes in the cab and under the hood. I got a different stock radio from a friend that was working in his truck and it wont work in mine. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be the case? The dome light and over head console light don't work either! I dont know where to start looking! Quadruple check fuses and radio ground! Thanks..

Make sure you check the IOD fuse. It is somewhat hidden behind a plastic retainer, and it's easy to miss.

Where exactly is that fuse located?

IOD Fuse. Interior fuse compartment. Second to bottom row i believe. It should have a handle built into it. The only one like it.

There is a 40 amp fuse in the PDC box under the hood, it is the funky 2 legged variety. That is what was blown in mine when I had the same exact symptoms. I will look at noon and see what the description on the cover is.

Thanks iker42 that fuse was missing! I replaced it and now everything works! I just have to replace the new found blown out speakers in the doors! Do you know what size the door speakers are? What size the small speakers behind the seats are in a 95 reg cab dodge?
