max speed?

max speed?

Is there a governer on my dodge it only goes 112 mph and then just quits pulling I was just wondering

I believe 01 and 02's have a limiter, so that is probably why it won't go any faster. There are ways around it such as certain chips etc.

I guess the edge juice attitude/ hot unlock doesn't have that feature

with the comp i had the needle almost burried. i dont think they were meant to go that fast. lol

With the gearing and the rpm's that we turn at 60 mph they should cruise. I guess they are limited because I couldn't imagine doing 100 plus mph in my truck. I can't think it would be safe.
I had a toyota celica back in 91. I was running it one night trying to keep up with a friend. As I pulled out to pass him @ about 110-112 mph it felt like the fuel peddle linkage broke. It just shut down, I found out later that it was the speed limiter. Man that was a let down as I was passing an old firebird with very low gearing and he was at his redline.

At that point its more of an RPM limit than a speed limiter. Those 6 slugs of pistons we have are not really meant to turn that fast lol.

ya my RPM"S were way up there. lol i was afradi to look down, i also needed ALOT of road to get going that fast.
