Made a 500 mile trip down to the central part of NC on monday to pick up a 7 month old colt. I love the pulling power of this truck, especially up around 85 mph and 2200 rpms. I had a few instances where a suburban pulling a little boat would get beside me, i would floor it and just leave him behind. Granted i was only pulling 4000# but i had more wind drag. Also passed a duramax pulling a car behind it. Love this truck!!! Was getting on the empty side and all we saw were diesel prices at gas stations up around $1.45, pulled into a truck stop, $1.35, the guys in the two trucks beside us kept staring, guess they were surprised that we could use the big pump to pump the fuel in. I am looking at truck stops from now on. Just a little note for the weekend.

Yeah, I love the truck stop pumps! Fills up much faster than the smaller regular station pumps! <br><br>Tony

oh, i thought you mean a Dodge Colt. oh well, gotta love the cummins! (trust me, you still need more power )

I know i need more power, but with the auto tranny i am limited, cash is limited now too, thought about just putting the edge ez in for starters, or the bosch injectors. Hmmmm, decisions. Here's a question for all of ya'll: When pulling a gooseneck trailer, is it required to have truck tags as far as license plates go?

look at my power. i still have the stock atuo transmission. i upped the line pressures last week so it'll hold the lock up clutch a little better.
