Looking for rubber floors
I have a 1997 quad cab that I want to put the factory rubber floors in. The dealer said I need a vin # from a truck that came with the floors so they can look up the part# Anyone know were I can get the floor liners?? Thanks
My brother had a 2002 quad cab with carpet. He asked about a rubber floor, and they they could install one over the carpet with no issues.
I wonder why your dealership can't get the same rubber floor kit from a 2002 and install on any 2nd gen? Aren't all 2nd gen the same size?

Yeah, Auto Custom Carpets. Probably cheaper if you can buy through an upholstery shop that is a dealer for ACC. I did one in a '93 Chevy Ext Cab I used to own for $100, my price when I worked for a custom upholstery shop. Fit great and snug, looked good. Just lay it out in the sun for a few hours prior to installation to get the packing 'folds' out of it. Best if you use a good spray adhesive so that it doesn't have any high spots. I'm planning to do one in my '97 Club Cab pretty soon. They list it at $203.82 for my Dodge which was the same retail as my Chevy. A jobber price should be about $100.

If you still need a VIN, let me know. My '01 has rubber floors, but it's back home with a busted axle shaft. I should be able to get the # Saturday, but I agree that you could get it cheaper elsewhere.
