leveling kit

Guys running leveling kit on 2nd gen, are you just running front end or is there kit for the rear also. I've looked on ebay and there's only spacers for front, no rear kits that I've found.

They should as long as the wheels are not really wide like 10 inches or bigger and the backspacing is close to stock. I ran 315/75/r16 goodyear MTRs on mine with 16x8 Americian Racings Baja aluminum rims and a 2 inch Rancho spring spacer on my old truck

Yes....with only minor rubbing at full over on the wheel. This is assuming you have factory 8" Al wheels.

My truck already looks pretty level to me. My boss's 03 3500 has that slanted look so he was asking me to find him a kit. Now I'm interested in getting one as well.

2nd gen. trucks with the factory 8" wide wheels, and 315 75 r16, will rub at lock up at least on the right side if track bar is factory. 3rd gen trucks will not rub because the tire ratios are a little different, and they are'nt as wide ( 17" wheels instead of 16") and i believe the control arms are a little skinnier, so the rubbing isn't an issue with them. if you use the spacers, some will say you don't need the longer track bar, some will say you do. Personally i found on my '02, i want the longer track bar. It rubs on right side, not the the left. '03 and newer have the better front springs, and ride much nicer than the 2nd gen trucks. Spacers work nice in 3rd gen trucks. I put the 2" spacers in my '02 and i wish i had put the 2" lift progressive rate springs in to level the front, and ride like a 3rd gen truck. To level the truck, you don't need anything in the rear, Just the front. As stated, i don't have any quality issues with the spacers, just the ride sucks compared to the carli springs. Also, if you are going to put the 35" tires on, the rest of your steering components, ball joints better be in good shape, cuz the 35's in my opinion, are the "crossing the line" tire size for the geometry of the front end. I had factory tires on, 31" good yearson, and all ran smooth. As soon as i put the 35" tires on, all kinds of vibration, bouncing, shaking, and for some other people, death wobble showed up. The 35" tires just really amplify any wear and tear up front.

KORE makes a kit that has leafs that replace the factory overload leafs on the rear. I believe they are called minipaks. If you buy the kit you have to purchase the bilstein shocks along with it though. I think it runs about $390 or so. I installed it on mine & found that it raised about 1 - 1 1/2".

x3 on HBS spacer. Had them on my truck for 3 1/2 years now with no problems. Still look like new after three winters in "salt country"

To level my 02 i got a set of skyjacker D25 springs & a set of 5100 bilsteins and it leveled it been 5yrs with this set up. Spring adds 2" and 5100 have longer travel then stocker shocks. Rear 5100 add 1" not noticable.
