LED replacement headlight bulbs

So I searched Auto Zone and they show none, searched Amazon and they have 9004 LED replacement bulbs but when I do the "check to see if this fits me vehicle" it tells me they don't and all their recommendations are for non LED bulbs. I searched here and only found old posts that indicated nothing available which was not surprising for the dates of the posts. Is it something to do with the truck? or what? any help is greatly appreciated

It has to do with the fact that these trucks use switched ground (basically wrong polarity for the led) and can be equipped with daytime running lights that use high beam at about 50% duty cycle.

My suggestion instead of LED would be to get a set of good bulbs (maybe even 80W/100W variants) and installing relays with a direct feed from the battery, using appropriate wiring for the task.

OK I was afraid it was something like that, thanks for explaining the issue.

I used sport light buckets and run 9004 9007 leds and yes with the daylight running light the high beams are on so i just turn on the lights to low beam only thing that when you use high beam low beam comes on to but nice and bright

I did the Sport light conversion, still not good enough. Did the 80/100 watt bulbs, still not good enough. Saving up my nickles to do the proper HID conversion. LEDs as far as I've seen do not put out any more light in front of you than the stock bulbs.

I did the sport upgrade then put in the H1 LED bulbs with the most lumens I could find...NOT GOOD. The light is very blue and clear but a little less bright than the 55w halogens I pulled out. I'm waiting for the 100W halogens and the direct relay kit to come in now.
I did have to reverse the leads to get the polarity right but otherwise everything just snapped into place.
