ok so i guess the slt laramie is the top package then?

tilt, leather seats and doors, power, tweeters in the a pillars, overhead display with temp, i would say mine was ordered pretty high class for a diesel.....

Or has someone removed them ?

They were removed when it was custom painted....just trying to learn the trim level on dodges too.

every dodge guy that sees my truck says it has everything you could get, except fog lights.....though being a cummins that may not have been an option or somethin.

i just dont want to put slt badges on it and then get busted on a minor detail if it isnt a real slt.....

98 old style pull out headlight switch in new style dash

98.5 rotary style switch

Clear as mud ?

I have a pull out headlight switch. Truck was born very early Feb 98.

Connector for pull switch is different from rotary.

You may have an SLT Laramie Plus. The Plus included heated leather seats w/ 6 way power adjust, and a burled walnut looking dash surround.

98 fogs

Sorry for the hijack but this seems like a good place to ask. Would anybody know where to put the switch for fogs, If I installed them, what it looks like and is there a factory harness plug in at each end.as it seems like it was an option that I didn't get althouh it is laramie slt.
I have a push/pull headlight switch early 98, 12v.

Don't know about the harness, on some models it was there, just not sure about the 98's. The switch "looks" like the same one used in the 94'-97's but I don't know if it is the same part number and plug. The location is next to the airbag shutoff switch by the radio, so I would think you're best bet would be go to a junkyard and find a 98' w/fogs and take the whole airbag shutoff/fog switch combo.
