I have a 2001 2500 4x4 Quad cab when I hit the breaks the radio will play and the interior dome light will come on. The radio wont play unless you have the break pedal pressed to complete the circuit. The only way you can get the interior light to come on is to hold the breaks and then rotate the switch on the headlights to on for the dome lights but if you let off the breaks the lights go out. If any one can help plz leave me a reply thanks.

Im guessing you have a wire grounding problem or maybe you tapped into the wrond wire somewhere. Aftermarket radio? What other power taps have you gone and where?

 

Maybe you should call an exorcist, not a mechanic?

Sure sounds like you have a goofy ground to me, bakfeeding voltage or something somewhere.
