My dome lights come on whenever I open any door with the exception of the d/s rear. I noticed this about a month ago but payed not attention to it until I opened the p/s rear door and the dome lights came on.

I looked for a door jam switch but did not see one.

Anyone have this problem before? It is the truck in my sig.

I've noticed the door ajar sensor is in the mechanism on the door where it locks onto the latch on the frame when you close the door. hope that make sense. Hopefully that will help you narrow down your troubleshooting.

 

Quite a few threads report broken wires between the cab and door. Pull the door panel and check there.
