interior dome light
interior dome light
alright now my trucks interior dome light wont shut off, what could be the problem thats keeping it on? i made sure the doors were completely shut and all the diles for the lights showed it was off and still the light wont shut off? so now i have to disconnect the battery everytime i shut the truck off, and i dont really want to take the light bulb out of it, anyhelp would be great. thanks! gregg
I am going to put toggle-switches in the wires to the dome-lights in our Dodges, so that the light can be turned off when the doors remain open.
To simply kill the light, until you get it fixed, there is a harness that goes under the carpet and seat, that you can un-plug under the dash.
I looked out at my Ford, one night, and the parking lights were on.
A couple of way-too-skinny wires, under the dash, had melted themselves together, giving 12-volts to the parking-lights.
