instaling leveling kit help

Figured Id tackel this myself, 2" leveling spacker and I have the axle down as far as I can with the brake and vacuume lines tight. I barly was able to remove the spring much less put it back in with the spacer, its not even close! what am I missing? I bought a spring compresser and i took it down a inch with it but im a bit timmid to really crank it in- what tricks does everyone use?

i used regular 1" ratchet straps and cranked them down till i thot they would break then some more. then use 3' prybars as well. very sketchy at best and its definitely not safe but got the job done. its up to u when u feel its not safe anymore. id say with the spring compressors (right tool for the job) go ahead and crank them up. o btw i put a bottle jack between the frame and axle and gave it another inch. but b very careful there....ur lines are tight already and u run the risk of wrecking the swaybar linkage like i did

Im half tempted to pull the calipers and unplug the vacuume+electrical and just pull the darn control arms off this thing, I plan to install energy control arm bushings and get it alinged anyway- just use the rachet straps to catch the axle as I start pulling the arms?

I just put a 2" level lift on my 94. I used a standard coil spring compressor, which installed inside the coil. It compressed them enough to get in without having to disconnect brake lines. I did pull the vacuum line lose for the CAD. There is no doubt that it can be done.
I also had a set of compressors that worked on the outside of the coil, which I didn't like.
I also used a jack to force the axle down as far as possible, without hurting the brake lines. The coils came out and slid in fine.

Got them in, Ended up putting on my dirt bike full face helmet & riding gear and chest protector. Cranked the impact gun up to 500ftlb and cranked that coil down, I could have gotten 3 spacers in there after that
I kind of wish I got the 2.5" spacer as its still not level, but man it does ride like a new truck with the Bilstein 5100's
