infinity amp

i have 2001 quad cab the left speaker's are not working does anybody know where the amps on the 01 are located
it sounds like a short

I think the amp is on the speaker. I too have a left front door speaker out and from the research I did and removing the speaker its part of the speaker. I found out you can still get replacements from dodge but everybody on here hates the system and says to replace the system. I would like to keep the truck stock and it sounds like you have to replace all speakers and head unit. If anyone has additional info please post as I have to do something after the holidays. I just want to get some sound back on my side.

i found the problem the left tweeter wire was cut and touching metal
probably from messing with the gauges
thinking of getting infinity speakers from crutchfield don't know if u have to remove the stock amps
