All a sudden my brake controller and my brake lights dont work. All fuses are good. I had a new stereo installed few weeks back does any of the brake controller run through the stereo harness or is it something else

brake lites....... start at the pedal and trace for power.

Have you checked in the power distribution box? That's what happened to my brake controller when I blew the 40 amp trailer fuse. It looked ok but was bad on closer look.

i ran my flash light over the tops of em they all looked good. i'll take a closer look tomorrow.i checked the relay and it tested good

Looks don't work when checking fuses, break out the meter or better yet buy a cheap fuse tester from the autoparts that allows you to test fuses in place.

It was the fuse thanks for the help had to put glasses on an look really really close. i showed the local auto part store and even they thought it still looked good
