i did this quest too for better lighting. I bought the euro headlights with the clear lens (not sports, single bulbs (around $120)) the summin harness (like 40 bucks) and some 80/100 watt 9004 bulbs from summit as well (like 50bucks) and honestly the best money was in the bulbs and the harness because while the lens's helped out a bit they weren't worth the money in improvement compared to the bulbs and the harness. and honestly some silverstars or piaa bulbs probably work well even if colored in overwattage but i wouldn't touch the blue bulbs in standard wattage that aren't really a trusted name. A set came with the headlights i bought and took a trip to pismo. Driving down the roads, unless there were absolutely no other lights, you could barely tell that the lights were on and it was better to drive by the factory fog lights.

SO i'd go with the summit harness, aim your headlights correctly and buy a good set of 9004's or overwattage 9004's. I've seen overwatts for like 20-30$.

Hope this helps

I need to get some new lights for mine but i have to get the new lenses and everything, for some reason the previous owner put bondo or somehting over the adjustment screws.... before adjusting them!
What are the recommendations as far as replacement lenses? What all is involved in going with sport headlights?
thanks in advance

That could happen - but I think the police tend to target the guys using the HID bulbs.

I'm surprised this website hasn't been mentioned http://www.danielsternlighting.com. He is THE guru of automotive lighting!

You can get all of your questions answered from him. He will respond personally and give you his expert recommendations.

I've seen the harness from Summit, el crappo! The one from SUV Light is spendy, but nice. Stern will sell you all of the hardware, minus the wire. This way you can route it were you want it and he sells the best connectors and relays.

wiring harnesses

Is the wiring harness that summit, lmctrucks, and suvlighting the same harness essentially? Do the harnesses protect the already marginal headlight switch? Stuart
