Question fuel gauge replacement

Does any one know if you can change out only the fuel gauge on a 97 or do I have to change out the whole cluster? Sending is new and gauge still does not work right.

The gauges can be changed individually. I bought an entire cluster out of a wreck fairly cheap. There is a complete troubleshooting guide for the fuel indication circuit in the FSM. You can get one from Genos if you don't have one.
