Hey guys,

Front fenders are getting some excessive rust and I need to replace them. Any idea on a good spot to pick these up for a decent price?

I got mine from partstrain.com - but in all I got a lot of wrong parts, like 2 inner fenders for the same side and not a bit of courtesy when trying to resolve the situation.
I also do not know who dinged them during transport.. but the fit was/is not satisfactory. Left side outer fender is about 1/2" less high than the right one, and the holes did not quite line up without re-drilling.

So if I had known a better alternative..

For other body parts I used LMC and they were decent.

A hint- all the replacement fenders have the holes for the sports headlights, so while you are at it get them and a set of relays- much better night driving

 

I would find good OEM ones if you can. The aftermarket sheetmetal always disappoints me in quality, fit, finish...and they rust out 3 times faster than OEM metal.

 

Aftermarket parts prices are all over the place, and the most expensive parts sometimes are no better than the cheaper parts. I guess It's just the luck of the draw, good luck.
