Inner Front Fenders Interchange Options

Do the inner front fenders interchange between all models from 1972 thru 1993?
Are there any differences between the intercooled, non intercooled, and gasoline truck versions in relationship to attaching points to the radiator support?

I would guess at least 81-93 would work fine. I have a 90 diesel core support with 85 fenders and inner fenders, it bolted right up.

The only tip I have on inner fenders is that the 1989 and up gas will have dimples where the diesel air cleaner and grid heater solenoid mounting holes are. And some inners are galvanized, not all though...

81 to 93 ok, pre 81 the outer fenders were shaped differently, as were the inners. Interesting on the galvanized, new one to me.

Were the galvanized ones found only on the more expensive diesel chassis trucks or can they also be found on a cheaper D150 2WD?
