Fog light wiring

Working on a new bumper, and thinking of recessing a set of Hella driving lights I have on the shelf. My truck does not have factory fog lights, though the wiring harness is there, capped at the passenger side frame rail. Could this be as simple as buying the stock switch (where would that go?) and installing a relay? Or is it more complicated, and be easier to wire it from scratch?

I spent a couple hours searching for the cab end of the unused foglite harness before giving up.
It was easier to run my own wire, just one ground wire to trigger a relay up front. Took five minutes.
Don't recall the '98 dash setup but the earlier trucks have a place for the small square stock switch to the left of the stereo.
