Angry Fog light help

My fog lights just stoped working, is this common? What is the fix?

Thank you for your help.

2 obvious places to check. The 15 amp fuse, and the relay. Both are on the fuse/relay tray under the hood. Have you done this yet?

Put a few switches in for that prob over the years. Use the above advise and then pull the switch. Most I find failed actually rattle when you shake them.

mine too...

Mine is doing this too! Worked up until a week ago, then would flicker a bit now nothing. This is a new switch (6 months) and I've got the spare old one, both nothing. I'm a little leary of buying a new one as there's no return at the dealership if it's not the problem. Both fuse and relay are good.

The dash switch energizes a relay which opens and closes the Ground side of the lights. If you pull the relay from the socket, you can short the "normally open" pins on the relay socket with a piece of wire and manually activate the fogs. On mine, they're the 2 large tabs; the other 4 tabs are smaller and are oriented 90 degrees. There should be a schematic on the sde of the relay. From the socket, you can also test the dash switch circuit using a meter.

FIXED MINE!!

Trace the harness from the bulb at the fog light itself to the 2-pin connector underneath behind the bumper. The connector itself even though it looked OK was loose and not connecting inside. Pushed it back together and all is good. Seems silly in hindsight but it's not exactly easy to find and can be easily overlooked as the connector seemed ok and I actually had voltage on both pins at the bulb, telling me I had power but maybe a short. Turns out only 1 pin of the 2 pin connector was loose and that was the switched ground wire. Hope this helps.

I've installed 3, and need to replace it again. Pee poor design on this one.
