Ran em on 02 model 1-ton towing heavy everyday and never had any problems. Pretty good tire.

I think I had that on my truck, not the ht's. Got the firestones on the front now and can't complain. Hold up well, ride nice considering the truck.

Check web prices. Discount tires will price match actual tire price. You pay install, tax but not shipping. I'm running Yokohama Geolanders for street use & like them.

Firestone Transforce

I think these are great tires for my needs. Tow a 22' Airstream. I don't do high speed. I don't go out in snow or ice. I don't do off road travel. These tires are real smooth and we feel very secure with them. Made a 4000 mile trip last month (Texas, Florida, Virginia & return). Tires felt great the whole trip.

They were best value I could find at the time. Firestone had a sale on. Discount tire, NTW, or Walmart couldn't beat the price.

Add 2 more thumbs up. We run em on all our work vans, they weigh in at nearly 10,000 lbs at 80 mph down the turnpike and we get excellent life outta em.
