I did another one yesturday. My wife seen the marks on the road we she got home from work a started yelling at me. "The tires cost that much money and blah blah blah." I just started to tone her out.

The first time I did a burnout after putting the DTT tranny in I left black marks for about 300'. I just couldn't stop. After I got out and looked at the tires I realized about 10,000 miles of rubber was melted to my fender wells and exhaust pipe. That doesn't come off very easily.

What is the best way to do a burnout with the Manual tranny? Dump the clutch and soot pedal, then nail the brakes ?

I was sitting at the red light the other day in the right turning lane that goes towards post. I thought about it then said what the hell! I held the brake and blue smoke was filling the intersection. The Germans in the little cars were amazed! Lucky the poliezi was not around to see that. I did notice that when the limited slip locks up the whole back end of the truck starts sliding to the left. I was cool! Got to the gate to check my ID and the guard said "Sir, do you know your tires are smoking? Is something wrong with your vehicle?". I just looked at him with a BIG grin on my face. I love my DTT tranny!

Pulled a good one a couple of nights ago. Was at a red light in the left turning lane. Of course I had some friends in the truck and had to show off a bit. Started smoke the rears and did not notice until I made the left turn still spinning that a Turk was in his ricer behind me. He was ****** and giving me the finger while shouting ou the window. Like I could her him?! Anyhow wen to wash the ctd the next day and noticed rubber in the fender wells and on the side of the bed. Thought to myself that the Turk might hav3e been mad at me for spinning rubber up on his hood. But all in all it was worth it!

i like to do burnouts just as much as all of you but the thing that sucks about my truck is that it is a limited slip and only one tire will burn...it makes you feel like a puss only seeing black marks from one tire
